the light within

This was actually a real place. On a trip around northern california in the red-woods my wife and I came upon a black sand beach that was very broad as it was long ,it jutted out into the sea. It was deserted at the time, just my wife and I. The sky was gray blue and it was foggy at the time. The beach rose up towards the ocean that we could not see the waves. We walked towards the water and as we got closer the crashing of the waves became louder.We came to the edge of the beach and at the edge the beach dropped at a steep angle into the crashing waves . The waves were huge and somewhat frightening not a good time to go swimming. I felt a great presence all around so did Sara it was a mysterious place . The most amazing thing about this strange beach was these two huge rocks that seem to rise from the sand in the middle of this strange world we were in.It felt like I was walking on holy ground. The huge stones seem to speak to me . We walked around the great stones looking up at them enchanted by there presence . After an hour or more I couldn't tell because time seem to stand still there. Anyway when we left the beach area there was a sign that we missed on the way in it said private property native land. I counted me blessings that Sara and I weren't caught .It is holy ground.
